Coming 9th March, we can observe the total solar eclipse in a part of Mongolia and Siberia. During this eclipse, Great Comet Hale-Bopp will be able to see. NHK planed to take this image foe the first time in the world. NHK and JPL bring lots of equipments, total amount is twelve tons, to the middle of a hill near Darhan where is the Second City in Mongolia. And from that place, we will supply a lot of CCD camera images and Schmidt camera photographs as well as broadcast over a world-wide hookup the HDTV and the NTSC images.Realtime images are presented through Inter net under the cooperation by NIS( Network Information Service Co.,Ltd. ).
